There are many causes of dry mouth. Some of the common cause are :-

  • Side effect of a medication which has not suited to your body.

Natural Remedy :-

Honey :-

Honey contains 17% water and 82% carbohydrates and also contains low amount of fats, dietary fiver and protein.  It is also rich in Vitamin-B6. Honey has been a source of  treatment and nutritional value since ancient times. It has several health benefits and so is widely used. Its health benefits are quite impressive, and since it is a concentrated source of nutrients it is often added to meals for nutritional value. It also monitors blood sugar levels, increases energy in a healthy way, soothe inflammation throughout body, prevents infection, helps in speeding healing process and boosts heart health.

Needs :-
  1. Raw Honey – 2 teaspoon
  2. Warm water – half cup
Process :-
  • Take a bowl.
  • Add warm water and honey.
  • Mix it well.
  • Rinse your mouth with this.
  • Repeat this process for 3 to 4 times.

Alleppey turmeric comes from Kerala, especially from the region of Thodupuzha and Muvattupuzha taluks. It is characterized by deep orange to yellow in color and has high curcumin, up to 6.5 %. U.S. has a special preference to Alleppey Finger Curucumin, where it is used as food colorant preferred for curcumin extraction. Alleppy variety is easier to grind then its Madras counterpart. In Ayurveda, it is used in medicine.

Holy Basil is commonly name as Tulsi or Tulasi or queen of herbs. Its scientific name is Ocimum Tenuiflorum. It is a redolent and aromatic plant, from lamiaceae family. It contains vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin K and other anti oxidants.

Needs :-

  1. Honey  – 1 teaspoon
  2.  Turmeric powder– 1 pinch
  3. Tulsi – 1 teaspoon

Process :-

  • Take a bowl.
  • Add Turmeric powderHoney and Tulsi juice.
  • Make a paste on it.
  • Apply a thin layer of this mixture on your Canker sores.
  • Leave it for 2 minutes.
  • After that wash your mouth with normal water.

Aloe-Vera :-

Aloe Vera Treatment acts as a home remedy for several health and beauty issues. It is also evident that Aloe Vera gel is able to kill bacteria as well as speed wound healing. It heals in mouth driness with its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Needs :-
  1. Fresh Aloe-vera – 1 leaf
Process :-
  • Take a fresh Aloe-vera  leaf.
  • Cut its side well.
  • Now cut it in two pieces.
  • Take a piece and rub your canker sores.
  • Leave if for few seconds.
  • Wash it with warm water.
