Double chin | It’s Cause, Prevention & Treatment

The extra layer of fatty tissue from your below chin is called Double Chin. It occurs when an extra fat accumulates around your neck swag or makes wrinkle on your skin. It is also called sub-mental fat. It often caused by over weight, genetics problem, loose of skin due to age, etc:-

Cause :-

  1. Over Weight :-  It is one of the most common cause of double chin.  It is common in fat person but thin are also susceptible to this disease.
  2. Genetic Problem :-  If  any of your family member is affected with this disease then you may also suffered from this.
  3. Ageing :- Ageing is one of the natural cause of this disease which is due to loose of skin due to age.
  4. Over Diet :- Over diet is also one of the common cause of it. Food that helps in being obese like-pizza, burger, noodles, mutton, and all types of oily food maximise the possibility of its effect.

Exercise :-

Exercise is one of the best treatment for this. It helps to reduce your fats from chin.

Rolling Your neck :- 

  • Look straight ahead.
  • Close your eyes.
  • Slowly tilt your head to one side, just down your chin.
  • Gently roll your heads back so that it points toward the sky.
  • Smoothly roll your head to left side.
  • After that turn it slowly to right side.
  • Now, move your head to its starting position.
  • Repeat this process at least five times.

Rotation of neck:-

  • Look straight ahead.
  • Close your eyes.
  • Gently turn your head clockwise.
  • After that turn your head anti-clockwise.
  • Repeat this process at least five times.
  • Don’t forget to keep your spine straight all the while.
Massage :-

Massage with wheat germ oil is one of the best treatment.

  • Take a bowl.
  • Add some wheat germ oil in it.
  • Rub this oil smoothly around the chin area.
  • Massage upwards from the bottom of the neck to the chin.
  • Repeat this process at least 10 minutes.
Chew Sugar-free gums :-

Chew sugar free gums, called ‘chewing gum’ helps to reduce it quickly. For better result, chewing it several times a day.

Drink green-tea :-

It has the most powerful anti-oxidant, also contains Amino Acid, vitamins, etc.which helps in weight loss diets, obesity, etc.
