Cause :-

There are various causes of breast pain. Some of the common causes are :

  • Breast Cysts  :- Sometimes involution (due to aging of women body, fat replaces the breast tissue ) affect only one side of the breast. In this case, cyst develops on your breast, which makes your breast lumpy and causes pain.
  • Breast surgery :- In most of breast surgery cases, pain occurs in the area of surgery.
  • Hormonal Fluctuations :- Due to the imbalance of hormone level, your breast pain may occur. The levels of hormones can be attributed to several factors like – puberty in girls as well as boys, menstruation, breastfeeding, pregnancy e.t.c.
  • Wear wrong size bra :- Wear a too much big or too much small size bra makes you uncomfortable and also caused breast pain. So, always use a suitable and comfortable personal inner wear. It provides your breast a perfect shape. Choose that bra which wires sit close to your chest. If your boobs are bulging over your over the cups at the neck edge and underarms then a larger cup size is needed for you.

Massage your breast :-

Massage Therapy is a type of technique, in which different type of massage are given  that usually depends on your needs as well as your physical condition. It is a manual manipulation of soft body tissue like muscle, connective tissues, tendons e.t.c. to enhance a persons health.

(1). Chi massage :-

Chi massage is simple and easy massage technique which you can easily do at home.

  • Rub your hands to generate heat.
  • Cup a hand over each breast.
  • Make sure that your right hand goes over the right breast and left hand goes over the left breast.
  • Move your breasts in a circular motion in inward direction.
  • Do it for 10 minutes.

Note :- Leave your nipples alone as much as you can during the massage of your breast.

(2).Oil massage :-

Massage  your breast with this oil is an excellent technique to soft it. It moisturized your breast and remove its dry skin.

(a). Olive Oil Massage :-

Painful and sore nipple is a very common problem or is a natural consequence of aging of women. Massage your breast with olive oil is an excellent technique to soft breast.

  • Take a ball.
  • Add 2 to 3 teaspoon olive oil in it.
  • Now Massage your breast with this oil from your finger in circular motion.
  • Leave it for an hour.
  • Do this process before taking bath.

(b). Coconut oil Massage :-

  • Take a bowl.
  • Add 2 teaspoon of coconut oil in it.
  • Warm it.
  • Apply it on your breast.
  • Now, massage one of your breasts using upward strokes, followed by circular motions.
  • Repeat this process on the other breast in similar way.

(C). Almond Oil Massage:-

Almond is one of the great natural resources that helps to promote glowing face, skin, breast care and also control hair falls.

  • Take a bowl.
  • Add 2 to 3 teaspoon of almond oil in it.
  • Warm it.
  • Apply this warm oil into your nipple.
  • Gently Massage your breast.
  • Leave it for an hour.
  • Do this process before taking bath.

(d). Castor Oil Massage :-

Castor oil is filled with proteins, minerals and has anti-fungal & anti-bacterial properties. And also a rich source of Vitamin E. This oil helps to relief from pain during menstruation. It also helps in regularize your menstruation cycle.

  • Take a bowl.
  • Add 4 to 5 teaspoon of this oil in it.
  • Massage your pain area with this oil.
  • Leave it for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Rinse it with lukewarm water.

Warm Compress :-

Warm compress helps to increase the blood circulation in the breasts.

  • Take a bowl.
  • Add Warm water in it.
  • Take a hand towel.
  • Soak it in a bowl.
  • Now, squeeze out the excess water from towel.
  • Place the warm towel over the affected area.
  • Leave it for few seconds.
  • Repeat it 4 to 5 times.

Cabbage Wraps :-

Cabbage leaves are one of the best remedy for swollen and tender breasts.

  • Take a bowl.
  • Add warm water in it.
  • Take 3 to 4 cabbage leaves.
  • Dip it into the bowl.
  • Leave it for 5 minutes.
  • Take out one leaf and wrap it around the affected area of your breast.
  • After some times, change the leaf.

Drink Herbal tea :-

The use of Herbal Tea is perfect for tender. It helps to release healthy properties of antioxidants. It should be used regularly as powerful remedy for it.

Ice :-

Ice is the best remedy to quick control pain. It helps to get relief temporary from breast and nipple pain.

  • Take a soft cotton cloth.
  • Wrap a cube of ice in it.
  • Place this on your affected area.
  • Leave it for few seconds.
  • Repeat it after few seconds.

Neem as a Remedy :-

Azadirachta indica also called Neem is an anti-biotic tree. It acts as an evergreen magical treatment for many diseases . Neem is rich in vitamin C and E content and is full of medical property.

  • Take some Neem leaves.
  • Grind them into a paste.
  • Apply it on your affected area.
  • Allow it to dry on its own.
  • Rinse it of with luke warm water.
  • Pat dry with a soft towel.
