Menstrual cycle and its problems …

Menstrual cycle, also called monthly cycle that occurs in women body due to natural hormonal change. It occurs every month to prepare for possible pregnancy. Regular period from the age of puberty to menopause, are the sign of healthy women body. But, irregular period with heavy blooding and painful periods are not normal. In this case, take quick step at home, apply natural remedy and visit a doctor for its treatment.

Generally, the first period occurs between ten to thirteen years of age. This is called menarche. The time of period vary from age to age. The length of time between the first day of one period and the first day of the next is :

  • 21 to 45 days in young women
  • 21 to 35 days in adults (an average of 28 days).
  • No limit in on the age of 45 to 50.

Menstruation stop after menopause, which occurs on the age of 45 to 50 years. In this case, blooding usually lasts around 2 to 8 days.


Phase of menstruation :-

Menstruation starts from the first day of start blooding from vagina. It renew after 28 days. There are four phase of menstruation :

  1. Menstrual phase
  2. Follicular phase
  3. Ovulation phase
  4. Luteal phase
1. Menstrual Phase :-

Menstrual phase starts from the first day of menstruation and lasts till the fifth day of the menstrual cycle. In this case, normally  10 ml to 80 ml blood fluids from vagina.

2. Follicular Phase :-

Follicular phase starts from first day of menstruation and lasts from the thirteen day of menstruation cycle. In this phase, a hormone generate from pituitary gland, which stimulate egg cells from your ovaries to grow.

3. Ovulation Phase :-

Ovulation phase occurs on the fourteen day of your menstruation. In this phase, your pituitary gland secretes hormones that causes the ovary to release the matured egg cell.

4. Luteal phase :-

Luteal phase starts from fifteen day of menstruation and lasts from twenty eight day of menstruation cycle.

Migraine :-

A migraine is a severe as well as a painful headache. Its headache affect one half of the head, are pulsating in nature, and last from 2 to 72 hours. According to a survey, many women suffered from menstrual migraine due to hormonal change. In this case,  hormones are to blame for your chronic head pain.

In this case, drink  Herbal Tea, massaging your hesd, drink more water, limit alcohol and keep rest.

Depression :-

In change in mood during menstruation, some women goes to depressionDepression is that medical term that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think the sense of well being, your behavior, and how you act. The woman with depressed mood may be notable anxious, sad, empty, restless, or feel ashamed. In this case, some women think to suicide.

In this case, avoid smoking or drinking, Control your excess weight and obesity.

Stress :-

Stress is a common problem during menstruation. It is a state of mental or emotional strain. Generally, stress occur on first day of period.

In this case, do meditation, drink lime water or eat healthy food diet.

Amenorrhoea :-

Amenorrhoea is a period problem in women in which no period occur. It rarely occurs. There are two stage of Amenorrhoea.

  • Primary stage :- In this stage, the girl doesn’t have period in the age of 16. In this case, visit doctor immediately.
  • Secondary stage :- In this case, woman may also have had periods in the past but they have stopped.

Dysmenorrhoea :-

Most of women are suffered from dysmenorrhoea. It is a type of painful period.

Heavy Blooding :-

Some women have heavy blooding during there periods. It affects woman’s physical, emotional, social and material quality of life.
