Here are some Eye Yoga, its benefits and procedure :-


Trataka :-

In this exercise, stare at an object constantly for fixed period.

Benefits :-

  • Improve your concentration
  • Amend your vision

Procedure :-

  • Take a yoga mat.
  • Sit down comfortably in Vajrasana.
  • Place an attractive thing like burning candle at about 2 feet from you.
  • Now, stare at the flame without blinking your eyelids.
  • Look as long as you can.

Eye Rotation :-

In this exercise, rotate your eyes in clock-wise and anti clock-wise direction.

Benefits :-

  • Reduce any disease of eyes.
  • Idle for those who expand more time in front of Computer and T.V.

Procedure :-

  • Take a yoga mat.
  • Sit down comfortably in Padmasana.
  • Now, start to move your eyes in a clock-wise direction.
  • Do this process at least 5 times.
  • Now, move your eyes in an anti clock-wise direction.
  • Do this process at least 5 times.
  • Now, close your eyes at least 2 minutes.

Palming :-

In this exercise, just close your eyes.

Benefits :-

  • Improve your eye sight in the long run.
  • For eyes relaxation.

Procedure :-

  • Take a yoga mat.
  • Sit down comfortably in Vajrasana or Padmasana.
  • Now, just close your eyes.
  • Now, cover your eyes with your palm.
  • Keep breathing calmly and feel relax.

Blink your eyes :-

In this exercise, just close and open your eyelids.

Benefits :-

  • Reduces any disease of your eyes.
  • Helps to make eye muscles flexible.

Procedure :-

  • Take a yoga mat.
  • Sit down comfortably on it.
  • Now, close and open your eyelids in fast action.
  • Repeat this process at least 20 seconds.

Sunning :-

In this exercise, facing sunlight with your closed eyes.

Benefits :-

  • Natural eye relaxation technique.

Procedure :-

  • Take a yoga mat.
  • Sit down comfortably on it.
  • Now, close your eyes facing sunlight.
  • Do this process at least 3 to 5 minutes daily in morning time.
